The Joseph House Crisis Center will be closed on December 24, 2021 for the Christmas holiday and will remain closed during the following week. It will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Previous Announcements for 2021:
Here is important information for anyone who wishes to receive Thanksgiving food and/or Christmas toys from the Joseph House Crisis Center.
You must be signed up with our Food Pantry whether you wish to receive a turkey, toys, or both. When you sign up, you will need to show a photo ID, proof of your income, and a Social Security card for every member of your household.
FROZEN TURKEYS will be given out on November 23 and 24 in the morning. Households with 1 or 2 members will receive a frozen chicken instead of a turkey.
You must be signed up with our Food Pantry by November 11. If you sign up after that, you will probably get a frozen chicken no matter the size of your household.
This turkey or chicken is in addition to your usual one-time-per-month food pickup. That means you can come another week during November and receive groceries.
CHRISTMAS TOYS will be given out on December 14, 15, and 16 from 9 am until 11 am.
You must sign up with our Food Pantry between November 2 – 18.
Toys will be for children up to the age of 14 years.
The Food Pantry will be CLOSED during the week that toys are being given out.
