The Joseph House depends on free-will offerings to help the poor. We share with the needy what we receive. Would you like to help us?

Sr Mary Elizabeth
“MOTHER TERESA OF SALISBURY”

From the time she was a child, Sr. Mary Elizabeth Gintling knew she wanted to spend her life in service to others. She is the founder of the Joseph House and the Little Sisters of Jesus and Mary.

Brother Charles
UNIVERSAL BROTHER

Charles de Foucauld, who embraced the life of Nazareth and loved the poor as a “universal brother,” is our role model. He said, “We must dare to be love in a world that does not know how to love.”

Charles will be canonized a saint on May 15, 2022!

Saint Joseph
PATRON, PROVIDER, PROTECTOR

St. Joseph is the patron of our ministry. Our founder knew that if God trusted St. Joseph to provide and care for Mary and Jesus, then she could trust him as well.
