Holiday Giving

Our services to those in need at the Joseph House Crisis Center and the Joseph House Workshop depend on your financial support.

During the holiday season, we also need donations of food and toys, which can be delivered at anytime to our convent at 411 North Poplar Hill Avenue in Salisbury.

Delivery to the Joseph House Crisis Center at 812 Boundary Street can also be arranged by calling 410-749-4239. You can also call the convent at 410-742-9590.

THANKSGIVING NEEDS
Frozen turkeys and chickens for Thanksgiving are needed by Sunday, November 21.

Non-perishable food items are needed year-round and can be given at anytime.

CHRISTMAS NEEDS
Christmas toys and gifts (new and unwrapped) for children up to the age of 14 are needed by Sunday, December 12. We prefer gifts that do not require batteries. Also, we cannot accept toy guns.

Needed the most are toys for older children between the ages of 7 and 14.

Suggestions: footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, construction kits, Legos, board games, skateboards, arts and crafts, books, jewelry boxes.

We also need hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and other small stocking stuffer gifts for children of all ages.

Ask your favorite child for suggestions!

Also, please consider donating cold-weather items for our homeless adults who visit our Hospitality Room. They need long underwear, hoodies, hats, gloves, and anything else that will help them keep warm.
