Hospitality Room Items

The Hospitality Room at the Joseph House Crisis Center offers assistance to men and women experiencing homelessness.

Current Needs:
  • men’s underwear – boxer shorts (not briefs), sizes medium, large, and extra large
  • body wash – large bottles
  • T-shirts – solid colors, sizes medium through 2XL
  • backpacks
Ongoing Needs:
  • men’s long sleeve shirts
  • rain ponchos
  • hand and foot warmers
  • sneakers, especially men’s sizes 10 through 13
  • white crew socks
  • underwear
  • undershirts, including sleeveless undershirts
  • cleansing wipes
  • soap and body wash, especially for sensitive skin
  • toothbrush and toothpaste
  • deodorant
  • disposable razors

Personal hygiene products should be travel size, unless otherwise indicated.

Donations can be dropped off or delivered to the Little Sisters’ convent at 411 Poplar Hill Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Joseph House Crisis Center at 812 Boundary Street in Salisbury. To arrange a time, please call the convent at 410-742-9590 or send a message using the Contact Form.

Clothing (new and used) and Household Items

All other clothing can be dropped off at the Carriage House, located in back of the parking lot of St. Francis de Sales School, 500 Camden Avenue, Salisbury.

Household items (soap, diapers, etc.) can be dropped off or delivered to the Little Sisters’ convent at 411 Poplar Hill Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801.

Furniture

Please call the convent first regarding donations of furniture (410-742-9590). It is very helpful if you can arrange delivery to our storage building at the Joseph House Crisis Center.

Christmas Toys

We collect new toys for children up to the age of 14 years. Toys are given out each year before Christmas. Toys that do not require batteries are preferred. We also ask that toy guns not be donated. For more information, please see Holiday Giving.
