New Doors at the Crisis Center
We offer many thanks to A+ Construction of Salisbury, MD for replacing two of the doors at the Joseph House Crisis Center. Even though a little extra work was required, there was no charge for the labor. We deeply appreciate this generous gift.
The Crisis Center had been needing new doors for some time. Years of significant wear and tear were evident. The doors we had were jerry-rigged into place and had different specifications from others of similar type. We found out that replacing them would not be a simple task.
A few contractors came to look at the doors and take measurements, but they all declined to accept the job.
We are grateful that A+ Construction was up to the challenge.
The project involved careful measurements, special orders, skillful installations, and replacement of some of the boards outside the front entrance. We are very happy with the final results.
Their work is now part of the long tradition of service and generosity that goes into taking care of the Joseph House Crisis Center. From the beginning, it has relied on the support of the community-at-large to keep it in good working order, making this latest project a fitting way to commemorate our 40th anniversary (see A First-Class Miracle).
It never fails: the right people come along at the right time. And why is that? Because of the intercession of St. Joseph, the carpenter of Nazareth, provider for the Holy Family, and patron saint of the Joseph House!
It’s nice to be looked after.
