Fellowship in the Country
About 30 Joseph House volunteers and staff came together for fellowship and delicious food on October 10. The gathering was at the home of Jen and Mike Gilchrist. They have a farm complete with turkeys and chickens and horses, including a mini horse.
The Little Sisters were deeply grateful to have this opportunity to thank our kind and dedicated volunteers and hardworking staff. They are a great team! We all enjoyed the opportunity to relax and get to know each other a little more.
The animals were a big draw. We loved getting up close and feeding the horses carrots and apples; they liked it too!
Special thanks go out to our gracious hosts. We appreciate so much your hospitality. The country setting was perfect for an autumn afternoon. It was a celebration of community and creation.
